Proboscis monkeys are native to Borneo, often found in areas like Sabah and Kalimantan. They thrive in dense mangrove and riverine forests. Their distinctive large nose, reddish-brown fur, and long tails make them easy to recognize. With a diet that consists primarily of young leaves, fruits, and seeds, they play a significant role in their habitat.
